corner view–spirituality

Corner View is a weekly appointment - each Wednesday - created by Jane, and hosted by Francesca.  It’s where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme.

bible

I grew up in a religious family.  my parents made me go to church and to observe Sunday’s as a day of rest.

Then I went off to college, found God and Christianity.  I remain in my faith.

Now that I’ve traveled and have lived in other countries.  I’ve made friends who are of many different faiths/religions.  Their commitment, the rituals and their beliefs – some are the same as mine, others are very different.

But If there’s anything I’ve learnt from my friends, it’s tolerance and respect for each others spirituality.

For more on this theme start with Francesca.

That's right, tolerance is one of the most important thing in the life. The picture of the blue mosque is wonderful.

that's sweet.
that's also what counts, i believe.
and i 'm stunned, still am, at those onion stylized places of orthodox religion.
i'm loving your images today, kari!

I love how you have represented different religions in the gorgeous photos. And tolerance is such a good thing, but I often find (at least in the US) that people preach tolerance, but they mean your tolerance of their beliefs and not the other way around.

interesting comment from Heather - so easy to preach, and not so easy to practice what one preaches.

yep I agree, by being tolerant we might actually have a chance to figure out that we have so much more in common then appears at first glance.
