Before the new year - morning and night were pretty much the same – darkness!  And noon would be dull, cold and a typical wintery day.

A couple of weeks into the new year and there’s a little difference now.  Not much,  but at least there is some and my son isn’t so confused!

But regardless of what’s happening outside, inside carries on pretty much the same -  morning, noon and night.

It’s good to be back to CV.  I almost forgot that today we resume….just been busy!

Anyway I’m looking forward to a new year of themes,  and I hope you all had a good break and are ready for the year!!

Well for todays theme I thought of these guys………

They’re always so still with no expression on their faces. 

They are soldiers but I always have this urge to touch, to get a reaction!  But something tells me not too…

So it’s safer to just look……and don’t touch!

ready, set, go….

the holidays are over and the second half of the school year starts tomorrow.

the kids are in bed, trying to get to sleep.  their finding it difficult after the holidays, but I know that’s where they need to be. 

I’m sitting here, enjoying the quiet and know that things are going to get busy for me too.

Busy with the school, busy with the community and just busy with life! 

It’s all good.

Well it’s 6 days into the new year and it just feels like another year.  But it’s not. 

there are changes coming. 

I’m not looking forward to them but I know my daughter is.  She’s anxious but excited all at the same time. 

Time will be precious.

a couple of days ago it was beautiful.  cold and frosty but beautiful.

And when everything is still and gorgeous, there’s nothing to add to the beauty of the winter white.
