So yesterday I spent the day (well almost all day) in the Istanbul airport for a flight to Singapore. I didn’t want to go through the hassles of applying for a visa so I spent the day at the airport.
And thank goodness for Starbucks and their free wi-fi and of course no websites being blocked I was able to log on to Francesca’s blog. For some reason Fuoriborgo is ‘blocked’ back in Atyrau, Kazakhstan! Don’t ask me why.
And so while I was there I thought I would try to post a picture for today’s corner view theme and then decided to post pictures for the others I’ve missed. Most of them anyway.
So in case you’re wondering
Corner View is a weekly appointment created by Jane but hosted by Francesca. It’s where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme.
So No words just pictures. Well a few words. !! Here we go….
Today’s theme: A view from my street when there’s a lot of snow.
Pets. She is not mine. She belongs to my neighbor and is a gorgeous dog. whenever my kids ask me for a dog I send them over to my neighbor to get their dog ‘fix’
Favorite clothes. Comfortable is important to me.
Self portrait.
Wine – well Champagne actually (and glasses). This was one of the champagne testing things I went too. And if I remember correctly the bottles are in the order of how we rated them.
All the small things. And the little things that make me happy.
Sacred spaces. Yes, my bed is pretty important to me!! (I know I’m a little weird!!)
What to do in Italy. Couldn’t think of anything else!!
Roadside… This kind of reminded me of home.
So there it is. I miss CV. It’s such an awesome meme and a wonderful way to see other parts of the world. I keep on checking Fuoriborgo while in Atyrau but to no avail.
I’ll keep trying though and coming to visit you lovely people.

For a great summary of the last CV's. It is a pity that you're not there. I miss your CV's.
Self portrait: Nice to meet you. :)
Sacred place: Yes, the bed is actually a wonderful thing.
Clothing: Jeans I also like very much
Pets: The dog is cute. When I was a kid, I always wanted a dog. Since I'm an adult, I have a dog.

What a lovely post - such a great idea to post all the Corner Views you have missed all at once. I am sorry you can't access Francesca's blog from your home - hopefully that may change at some stage?? In the meantime I hope you stay in touch by emailing Francesca links to your blog some times :-)
d'you think at all there'd be a way to uplift that ban on fuoriborgo, i wonder... i think it may be possible, i'm not too sure how.

Welcome back, and happy travels, that is beautiful that you posted all the CV`s!! I love your self-portrait too. Since we all blog from somewhere in the universe, sometimes I can`t tell where someone`s `home` is so your posts and travels have a timeless spaceless quality which is interesting!!!♡
Beautiful snowy pictures!! Interesting how identical the surrounding homes are!
Francesca, the Kazakhstan champagne got the highest ratings.
Jewel, yes all the houses are identical. That was the idea. Only 2 houses are different in this compound - the directors and the vice director of the company.
