Corner View is a weekly appointment - each Wednesday - created by Jane, where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme.
there are days when I long to go back home. home as in Papua New Guinea. Don’t get me wrong, I love my life. I’m thankful for the opportunities that are I have living in another country, experience different cultures and just being able to travel. But I miss home every now and then.
And yesterday was one of those days and so I will share this bird. a bird from my home island, the bird of paradise – also known as our national emblem.
as for my current place I call home, well I haven’t seen any pretty birds yet. maybe cause I’m not really looking, but there are a lot of mean crows out there that have attacked a few of my friends!
for more birds start with our faithful host, Francesca.

that bird is absolutely STUNNING!!
it's got the perfect name! and by the sound of it, he's probably more friendly than the crows where you are now!
That's a remarkable bird, Kari. I understand about missing home, of course you do sometimes!
